Edible Images

See it, Snap it, Adapt it, Eat it! . . .

In addition to the more traditional methods of cake decoration, we now have the software & materials to supply edible images. Your photograph can be scanned, edited and enhanced, then printed with edible inks onto a sheet of icing, providing a simple and unique solution to decorate your cake. The icing sheets are virtually tasteless, so will not affect the flavours. Cake toppers can be ordered on their own or as part of a complete cake order. The examples shown will give you some idea of the variations which can be achieved. Each topper will be unique.

Images, shapes, wording, fonts and colours can all  be  designed to suit your preferences.  Backgrounds can be added in various styles. Frames too, add an extra dimension to the image. Speech bubbles can turn an ordinary photo into a comical graphic design. It might be for a birthday or an anniversary, a christening or retirement. Maybe to say 'good luck' or 'well done' or just to say thank you to someone. Small cupcake  images  are  also  available for that special function.  For example, the bride & groom's  names with the date, or it could be a corporate event, in which case a business logo could be used. Combine several images to create a collage effect. This can tell a story. For instance, the stages throughout someone's life to celebrate a 'big' birthday, or to show their favourite pastime. The example shows a selection of that person's recent holiday snaps. A musical theme would work well too or a favorite pet maybe. The possibilities are endless. Photograps don't have to be used. We can create a design for you using general images and colours and incorporating text in various styles to personalise the topper. 

As a size guide, we can print an 19cm circle to fit an 8inch(23cm) cake or larger. An A5 rectangle which measures approx  19cm x 11cm, or the largest which which is an A4 rectangle and has a printing area of approx 25cm x 19cm. Various shapes and sizes can also be made to order.

We accept payments via PayPal. PayPal is a secure online payment method where you can either pay with your credit or debit card, or, like millions of users, if you already have your own personal PayPal account you can pay via this. Your topper will be sent by 1st class recorded delivery.

Email your Requirements

State which shape & size you require i.e  A4 circle, plus your choice of wording  and how you prefer it to be  displayed (around the outside of the image or across the centre).

Also your preferred choice of font.
