Celebrations for whatever reason, are the perfect excuse for a cake. A cake allows everyone to share in the happiness of the occasion, whether it's a Christening or a Retirement, or a Congratulations or Leaving party. It might be a corporate event or something personal such as a Thank You or Mother's Day, or maybe a house warming party. It might be seasonal such as Valentines, Easter or Christmas. The base of the cake could be rich fruit or something lighter such as a vanilla, almond, orange or chocolate madeira, lemon drizzle or carrot cake.
